This episode describes the silly behaviour of a rich woman who is foolishly indulgent,
perhaps because she is lonely. Do you think such people are merely silly, or can their
actions cause harm to others?

Answer:

Actually, such people are ignorant about the consequences of their actions. In this chapter, The pet dog Tricki suffers from health ailments on account of its mistress, Mrs. Pumphrey's habit of overfeeding. She has lack of common sense and she keeps her dog feeding to show her affection towards him. Even when it is at the surgery, she keeps bringing bottles of wine and dozens of eggs everyday to build a little dog's strength.

hope it helps...!!

This episode describes the silly behaviour of a rich woman who is foolish. This may be because of her loneliness. They are ignorant about the results of their actions. They show their excessive love and affection for someone without knowing the consequences. There is no doubt that their intentions are good, and don’t have any sort of ill-will, but they are not aware that their action can cause harm to others.
