\bf{Tongue} is a Sense organ of Animals.

It can perform some functions without which life isn't fun. (eg. Taste) :-D

\bf{Taste} - Though 75% of Taste comes from smell, 25% is constituted by Tongue.

\bf{Swallow} - Due to its Flexible structure, it helps us in swallowing food as it pushes it down the Throat.

\bf{Speak} - Tongue helps us shape our voice. Without it, our voice will be like a baby.

\textit{Myth\:busted} - It is said that different areas of Tongue are designed for different flavours.
(Eg. Front part is for Sweet Taste). This is False.

Try putting a bitter tablet at the tip of your tongue(Sweet area), Can you detect it's taste?
