then by Pythagoras theorem

b^2= h^2- p^2

b^2=13^2- 12^2

b^2=169-144

b^2=25

So, b=5

Hence,

TanA = p/b = 5/12

and ,CotB= b/p= 5/12

TanA - cot B= 5/12- 5/12 = 0
