This is actually Health 9th I really need help with it I will mark you Brainless
In this assignment, you will pretend you are the editor of the Health Times, a health-oriented newspaper. The focus of your newspaper’s next issue is disease prevention and risk reduction. This issue is intended to inform your readers of ways to reduce their chances of illness or injury so that they can live long, healthy lives. You will write an Editorial, which is a letter from the editor to the readers, to explain to your readers how they can increase their chances of living long, healthy lives by referring to concepts that you learned about in your previous three connections.
Your Editorial must include ideas from your three previous Applied Knowledge Assessments as you discuss the following required topics:
• Preventing communicable diseases.
• Reducing the risk of noncommunicable diseases.
• Increasing personal safety in your home and your community.
As a reminder, you covered the following topics in each Applied Knowledge Assessment in Unit 4:
• Letter to the Editor about the importance of vaccines.
• Informative Article about a noncommunicable disease of your choice.
• Winter Sport Safety Advertisement about safety equipment for a winter sport of your choice.
Your Editorial must be at least five paragraphs long. As a reminder, a proper paragraph has 3-5 complete sentences.
Your Introductory Paragraph will briefly mention the three required topics in a properly formatted topic sentence and outline what you hope for readers to learn from this issue of the Health Times. Next, you will compose three body paragraphs detailing the following information:
Body Paragraph 1 will explain how one or more of the following actions can reduce the risk of contracting communicable diseases (including sexually transmitted diseases): staying up to date on vaccinations, practicing healthful behaviors such as hand-washing and getting enough rest, and avoiding risky behaviors such as drug and alcohol use and sexual activity. Incorporate information from Connection 1 as support for your thoughts and opinions.
Body Paragraph 2 will explain how the risk of developing some noncommunicable diseases can be reduced by practicing healthful behaviors including at least two of the following: managing stress, getting regular physical activity, eating a healthy diet, knowing your family history of disease and getting regular checkups, and avoiding risky behaviors such as drug, alcohol, and tobacco use. Incorporate information from Connection 2 as support for your thoughts and opinions.
Body Paragraph 3 will explain how the risk of injury in your home and community can be reduced by practicing healthful behaviors including at least two of the following: taking precautions in your home and outdoors, practicing vehicular safety, wearing protective gear while playing sports, and being prepared for weather emergencies. Incorporate information from Connection 3 as well as Unit 4 Lesson 8 and/or Unit 4 Lesson 10 as support for your thoughts and opinions.
I would like you to use it in your own words because onisly I do not like writing
Please note: When incorporating information from your other Applied Knowledge Assessments, it is important to phrase and reword the information so that it works with the rest of your editorial. Copying and pasting information from your previous connections will not be accepted.
