Let each angle = a, b, c, & d.

Now in any quadrilateral angle a + b + c + d= 360°

In the figure a=135° b= [x-38]° c=87° d= (x-18)°

So, 135 + (x-38)+87+(x-18)=360

222+2x-56=360

2x=360-166

x= 97

Hence a= 135° b=97-38=59° c=87°. d= 97-18=79°.

Answer:

135° + 87° + (x - 38)° + (x- 18)° = 360°

222 + x - 38 + x - 18 = 360°

222 + 2x - 56 = 360°

166 + 2x = 360

2x = 360 - 166

2x = 194

x = 97°

now,

x - 38 = 97 - 38 = 59°

x - 18 = 97 - 18 = 79°
