Find K if (x-2) is a factor of 2x^2 - 6x + k

Here, (x-2)

This means, x = 2

Hence,

putting value of x in equation,

we get,

2 \times  {2}^{2}  - 6 \times 2 + k

= 2×4-12+k

=8-12+k

k=4
