Answer:

1) 2

as when we adds a number with 1,the answer is the successor of the given number

here given,and it's successor is 2

therefore the answer is 2

and No signs other than + is here,so from side of BODMAS rule,answer is same as addition is 5th done according to BODMAS rule.

Also

Some thing you can know is

n-1=predecessor of n

n+1=successor of n

n×1=n itself

n÷1=n itself

More info:-

1 is the first Nature number

1 is the second whole

1 is also known as multiplicative identity as a number × 1= that number

like 0 is done for addition,so 0 is called additive Identity.

as 0+ a number= the number itself

2) 2 is the smallest composite number,as we know it has only 2 factors,that are 1 and 2

as 1×2=2

and nothing else (a whole number) as a factor, therefore the factors of 2 are 1 & 2 itself

3) 389-34=355

4) Given:-

she had $168

after buying an apple, costing$78

how much will be left?

For knowing that we've to know the difference between 168&78

by subtracting

168-78=90

therefore the money remaining is $90

5) Let the unknown number be x

56+x=8

x=8-56

while subtracting intergers,we simply have to subtract the terms, and put the sign of greater number

here 8-56

we've to subtract,here greater number is 56

56-8=48

and we've to put the sign of greater one

that is

x=8-56

x=-48

hope it helps
