Let me tell you correct answer
Hold to identical bars in both hands
If we move the iron bar end around magnet bar we will experience greater attraction at ends and weak attraction at middle

But if we move magnet bar around iron bar we will experience same attraction due to capability of magnet to magnetised any iron part

If you are having an iron bar on one side and a magnet on other side as both are of same shape and color so just lets say piece 1 and piece 2 as we dont know which piece is what so.

Take piece 1 and bring it near to the piece 2 if piece 2 get's attracted towards piece 1 then piece 1 is your magnet and piece 2 is your iron bar.

And opposite happens then piece 2 is your magnet and piece 1 is your iron bar.
