So what's an event horizon of Black Hole?

A region of spacetime having such strong gravitational effects that nothing can escape from inside it, even light which is fastest (299,792,458 m/s).

It's not really black. Light from that point can never escape outside, so it's black.

Conclusion - It's not possible to capture the image of the black hole (it's event horizon).

So why there is a news everywhere?

BLACK HOLE EVENT HORIZON HIGHLIGHTS: FIRST-EVER DIRECT PHOTOGRAPH OF BLACK HOLE M87 EVENT HORIZON REVEALED

Why? / how?

___________________________________________

We can't see black hole, so scientists are always in search of gravitational influences, like orbit of many stars, hot glowing matter, particles motion etc.

So Conclusion - Instead, the image shows the black hole’s silhouette against a background of hot, glowing every pulled by gravity.

EHT (Event horizon Telescope) observed the same.

Here is pic, first ever pic ^
Pic is about glowing matter, so yellow :D

The European Southern Observatory announced earlier this week that they have some big news to share. EHT ( Event horizon Telescope) published the pic yesterday. Note this day - 10 April 2019.

EHT is highly technical developed Telescope, having very high quality to observe things from millions of light year.

It uses frequently waves (radioactive) to observe the different parts of unseen Universe, still trying to expand Observable universe :P

Source - news.

Thanks to EHT :)

Really, it's a great break through of the astronomers.

Our astronomers released the first ever picture of The supermassive black hole whose mass is 6.5 billion times of our sun .

It is present in the M87 milky way galaxy .

It's image was captured with the help of telescope named event horizon telescope ( EHT ) .

It is present in the Virgo of Galaxy .

M87 is about 55 million light years from Earth .

There were 200 researchers present in that group of black hole through EHT .

An optical image of M87 galaxy captured by European southern observatory's very large telescope .

Let's discuss

What is supermassive black hole ?

→ It is a type of black hole which have infinite mass and gravitational force and it has mass about 10,00,00,000 times that of sun .

One such black hole is present in the centre of our milky way galaxy named Siggatirus A .

The whole mass of this type of black holes is focused at the center , which we call Central Singularity point .
