PRECIPITATION

  • Precipitation in layman's language means rain.
  • Rain is the downward fall of water from the clouds of atmosphere, since the the water moves out of the atmosphere it is considered as an outflow of water from the water cycle.
  • Outflow refer to the removal or eradication of water from the hydro logical cycle and from its components.
  • Transpiration refers to the movement of water through a plant and other aquatic life plants  along with its evaporation from aerial parts.
  • Surface flow of water is simply the movement of water along the different channels in the continuity of water among the different streams.
