Nationalism is all about living for country! Where you devote and worship your land and it’s fundamental identities, value and proudly reflecting it with your identity.
Now when we are talking about “Aggressive Nationalism”, personally i feel..It’s more equal to “religious extremism”.
I know, the kind of comparison i am making is quite sensitive and might be offensive to certain section of society.
However, without going much into dept i like to explain you that by mentioning few points which will help you to the actual concept of “Aggressive Nationalism”
when your government is enforcing certain sort of restriction on your personal choices which is actually your fundamental right yet a governing body or paranoid organization is simply restricting it in the name of so-called National or Cultural Interest.
When you give a constructive criticism in respect to any societal, cultural or national flaws which are not been taken into a positive note by certain section of society and you being labelled as ‘Anti-National’ or in-patriotic citizen
When you are being forced perform or follow to certain activities in your organization, school and religious place which is inconvenient and ill-logical in name of Nationalism
