Step-by-step explanation:

x+y=25

50x+100y=2000

divide by 50

x+2y=40

x+2y=40

-×-y=-25

+y=15

substitute y=15in any one equation

x+y=25

x+15=25

x=25-15

x=10

therefore meena got 1p notes of rupees 50 and 15 notes of ruppees 100
