this is short stories class 9th chapter name chief Seattle my question is how is every part of the soil sacred to his tribal people?

Every part of the soil is sacred to the tribal people cause it was not only there birth place but also the death place of there great forefathers....
They didn't wished to go away from there birth place cause it would've been an insult to there tribe.......Nobody has the power to kill or move the mortals.....then why just being a native India the God was being so discriminating towards his brown children....was it just cause of the colour or was it about his dignity which would've changed to an insult if he saved the Browns.......
