Hey there! ☺☻☺

Perimeter of the given figure = Perimeter of rect. + Perimeter of square
                                               = 2(l+b) + 4*side
                                               = 2(15+10) + 4*15
                                               = 2*25 + 60
                                               = 50 + 60
                                               = 110 cm

Hope It Helps You! ☺☻☺

archita12: but when our teacher solved she is getting 90
archita12: 90cm as answer
archita12: am a bit confused
archita12: which is correct
archita12: god knows
duragpalsingh: Then you've to find area.

Construction:
Construct an imaginary line between the red points in ur diagram.

Perimeter of the given shape = 3 sides of rectangle  + 3 sides of a square + 5 m

We should calculate only 3 sides of a square and 3 sides of a rectangle as the fourth line is drawn imaginary.(see construction)  and 5 m is included as the extra part of the fourth line gives up 1/3 of the whole side in square

Perimeter of the given shape = 2l+b + 3a + 5
                                                  = 2(15)+10 + 3(15) + 5
                                                  = 30 + 10 + 45 + 5
                                                  = 40 + 45 + 5
                                                  = 90 m

:) Hope this helps!!!
