8% tax

then,
 \frac{25}{100}  \times 600 = 150 \\ now \frac{8}{100 }  \times 600 = 48 \\ therefore150 - 48 = 102 \: rupee

MP = 600

Selling Price = 600×75/100= 450

Sales Tax = 450×8/100= 36

CP = 450+36= 486 rupees

so customer have to pay 486 rupees for item.
