This is to bring to your notice that, of late, the celebrations of festivals in this town have
become noisier. There is more of noise and less of fervour. I enclose a 'middle' published
in 'Palghar Times' to this effect. Though written in a lighter vein, the article reveals the
frustration of many citizens. From every street corner loudspeakers blare film music and dialogues at full pitch from early morning till late in the night. the air is rent with the
deafening noise of firecrackers during these festival days.
Apart from the fact that the noise robs one of one's precious and
se robs one of one's precious and well-earned rest, it scares
young babies, animals and birds. It sends up the palpitation rates of heart patients and of those suffering from high blood pressure.
On behalf of the peace loving citizens of Palghar, I request you to take appropriate steps
to patrol the areas during festival time to enforce the law regarding noise pollution.
please explain this whole part
