This new polyp species, Tubiclavoides striatum, was found on mud volcanoes,
inactive carbonate chimneys, and cold-water strands in the Gulf of Cadiz (part of

This new species, that is, Tubiclavoides striatum, belongs to the family called Tubiclavoididae.

They have tentacles which are not regular but are scattered.

Around the tentacles a structure called sporosacs.

This species was found in the volcanoes and also in the carbon made chimneys which were not active in the country Spain.

The genus of the species is Tubiclavoides.

These are some of the chracteristics of the newly defined species.
