Here is your answer.


a) Refer to the image attached.


The angle x in the image = 45°


b) From the image attached we can clearly see that :


The angle of deviation = 180°


c) This same principle is used in the prism Binoculars.


In prism Binoculars the same process happens. From the eyepiece lenses the beam of light that enters and is divided into two when hits the prism and brought together again. This is also called PHASE SHIFTING.
