• We know T=2π√(R³/GM)

where R is orbit radius and

T is time period ,M is the mass of the earth, G is the gravitational constant

and G= 6.67× 10^(-11) Nm²/kg²

According to the question

M = 4× original mass of earth

= 4×5.92×10²⁴ kg

Orbit radius = height of satellite from Earth's surface + Earth's radius

= (6400+35780)Km

=42180 km = 4.2180 × 10^7 m

Now,

T = 2π√(4.2180+10^7)³/√{6.67× 10^(-11) ×4×5.92×10²⁴ }=43369.8 sec ≈ 12 hours

so, T = 12 hours

•So the time would be 12 hours.
