1) when she struck the first match stick it spluttered and burnt brightly. it seemed that she was sitting in front of the great iron stove with polished brass knobs and brass ornaments. it felt so warmth to the little girl that she stretched her feet out and then out went the match and she had left with the burnt match stick.
2) when she struck the 2nd match stick, it burnt so clearly that the cold thick wall became transparent like gauze and in the midst of it laid a table with white cloth and decorated with china and there was a roast goose stuffed with prunes and apples and then the goose came hoping down the table and waddled down to her and then the flame were out.then she saw the cold wall in front of her eyes.
