(64)^(-1/6) means take the 6th root of 1/64, which is 2
(81)^(1/4) means take the 4th root of 81 which is 3
Hence numerator becomes (1/2)*(1/6)*(3)
And denominator becomes (1/8)*2*(1/3)
Hence answer is (1/4)/(1/12) =12/4 = 3

sudevrv: (a) ^(p/q) means to find the pth power of the qth root of a. Note you to find the root first and then only power it
