What light does the opening scene throw on the danger that the sea could pose to ships? How does the scene how that Antonio is very confident about his business venture?

When Antonio couldn't recognise the reason of him feeling melancholy his friends salerino and salanio stated the possible reasons for that feeling which included the various dangers which the sea could pose.....

The main dangers were posed in Salerino speech , the part where he described the way he'd feel if he have had the same ventures.....and they were

whenever he would blew on his soup he would be reminded of the terrible damage which the strong winds can do to his ships, the strong winds is the first danger .... secondly he could not see the running sand hour glass as he'd then be reminded of the dangerous shallow waters and quicksands , second danger was the quick sand and shallow waters , .....thirdly he could not go to the church as after seeing the rocks of which the holy building is made up of , he'd be reminded of the dangerously rocks, which if his ships would touch , they would be scattered and wrecked , so the last danger was the dangerous rocks.......

Antonio is confident about his ventures since
