differentiating both the sides

dx/dt = d (40+12+ t ^3)

Now, we know that dx/dt=v

= dx/dt =v

So,

= v= o+12- 3t^2

= o= 12- 3t^2

= 3t^2= 12

= t^2 = 12/3 = 4

= t= √4 =2

putting the value of t in eq ------ 1

x= 40+2(2) - 2^3

x=40+24- 8

x=64- 8

x= 56 m.
