- Two Equations
- 4x+8y=10
- 2x+3y=5
- The equation is either consistent or inconsistent
☞InConsistent
- in inconsistent the values are satisfied to the both equation
- Therefore it give no any solution
Let solve the equation
4x+8y=10____(1)
&
2x+3y=5___(2)
Multiplying by 2 in Equation (2)
4x+6y=10____(3)
Solving equations 1 and 3
- By Elimination method
4x+6y=10
4x+8y=10
_________
y=0
¶utting the value of y in (1)
4x=10
=>X=5/2
from this We conclude that
- The equation is consistent
- They have unique solution
Hence, given equation is consistent
