Hii friend
here is your answer
India lies between 8°4` north and 37°6` north latitude. There is a vast variations experienced in the climate of India. It is the unique location, as himalayas in the north and ocean in the south, west and east.but the special feature of climate of India is that it is totally influenced everywhere by monsoon. It is a ARABIC term derived from MAUSIM meaning season. Thus, monsoon is a seasonal wind which blows from sea to sea in the other season.
In India, there are large differences in the climatic conditions even though most of it lies in the tropical monsoon region . Island like Andaman and Nicobar have mostly equatorial climate while western and northern parts have cold dry climate. Heavy monsoon rain occurs in the eastern parts like north-east India, while western part has desert like climate.
we can observe a variety of climate contrast from north to south but the only factor which unifies climate of India is monsoon. therefore climate of India is "Tropical monsoon Type".
