Given : <A, <B and <C are the three interior angles of a triangle.

So, we can say :

<A + <B + <C = 180°

Or, <B + <C = 180° - <A

(i) sin [(B+C)/2]

= sin [(180°-A)/2]

= sin (90° - A/2)

= cos A/2 [SHOWED]

(ii) <B + <C = 180° - <A

Or, <B + <C = 180° - 90°

Or, <B + <C = 90°

Now, tan [(B+C)/2]

= tan [90°/2]

= tan 45°

= 1 [ANSWER]
