Nelson Mandela was an activist. He was thrown in jail by the South African apartheid Government. He was imprisoned for standing up against the government that was abusing people with a darker coloured skin, often referred to as “blacks or black people”. He was elected as president in 1994, he wanted equality for white and black people.

Nelson Mandela passed away on 5 December 2013, he was loved by many people worldwide.
