This question was there in my mind since I learned about mirrors and lenses and nobody was able to answer it. Even every student has this question in their mind but they don't ask. I don't know why?
Even my own science teachers are not able to give an accurate answer for it.......
It is a kind request that please don't give any spam answers otherwise the person who really knows the answer will not be able to write and share it's knowledge with everyone . If you want you could discuss it in the comments of this question...
So the question is this :-
Why is it that in the mirrors part the mirror which converges the light known as concave mirror and on the other hand the lens part the same type of lens which converges the light known as convex lens?
Why can't we call both of them as concave or convex?
Similarly is the case with the divergent mirror and lens...
If anyone knows then please answer this and don't give it for points rather think that your sharing of knowledge will help thousands of people to get success...
Thank u for reading it, hope you understand that I am behind this answer for very long and not able to find it...
