The stranger who came to the pet shop wore shiny shoes, a cheap, ill-fitting new suit. He had closely cropped hair and looked very different.

Q1) The stranger who came to Mr. Purcell's shop had been released from Jail after ten years of Imprisonment. His suit though new looking was cheap and ill- fitting. He had close chopped hair. His eyes moved all around in the shop. He wanted to purchase something in a cage.

Q2) Purcell would open his shop and he sat on high school everyday. He would then unfold his morning paper and digest the day's news. This was the morning routine of his shop.

Q3) The stranger wanted to buy birds as he did not like to seeing birds caged up, he wanted to buy birds to set them free by buying it.

Q4) After freeing the bird the man felt happy, as he had suffered the pain of being inside the prison.

Q5) Purcell's main source of income was the Pet Shop he had. He sold dogs, cats, birds and etc. And also prescribed medicines for them.
