side of the stamp = 4

therefore, area=

(side \times side) \\  = (4 \times 4)

given,

dimentions of the rectangle = 15cm by 19cm

therefore,area =

(length \times breadth )\\  =( 15 \times 19)

therefore ,number of stamps needed =

 \frac{15 \times 19}{4 \times 4}  \\  =  \frac{285}{16 }  \\  = 17.8125 \\  = 17 \: approx

therefore approximately 17 stamps are needed
