2.I = E / R = 24 /( 4 + 8) = 24 / 12 = 2 A

3. pd across parallel network

V = I x R( equivalent) = 2 x 4 = 8V

4. pd across parallel network is same

I¹ x 6 = I² x 12

I¹/ I² = 2

I = I¹ + I² = 2

I²( I¹/I² + 1) = 2

I² ( 3) = 2

I² = 2/3

I¹ = I² x 2 = 4/3A
