This time, the Drama EP features Japanese versions of beloved tracks “Drama” and “Can’t You See Me?” — taken from TXT’s latest Korean album release, The Dream Chapter: Eternity — as well as the group’s first-ever original Japanese song, “Everlasting Shine.” And this last one comes with even more anime easter eggs.

An anthemic pop song, “Everlasting Shine” will serve as the theme song for Japanese animeBlack Clover, based on Yūki Tabata’s weekly shonen manga. On July 29, the series announced TXT’s Japanese song would serve as the series’ new opening track starting September 1.

“This song contains the message of 'Shine Forever' like a jewel, overcoming the obstacles over and over again to lead to a brighter future, even if things don't go as you wish,” TXT said of the track, per Crunchyroll. “We hope you will enjoy this opening song, which is similar to the theme of Black Clover, 'Never give up on your dreams,' alongside the anime.”

Who knows, judging by the music video for the Japanese version of “Drama” maybe this won’t be TXT’s only foray into anime? After all,Haikyuu!!’s fourth season is returning in the fall and one can only hope of an official future crossover. Meanwhile, we have another new TXT album on the horizon — Big Hit Entertainment recently revealed that the quintet is dropping a new record sometime in 2020.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
