I = V/R = 6/6 = 1A

since, same current will flow through both circuits

★ Find the value of unknown Resistance R(1st circuit)

=>(2) R = V/I = 6/6 = 1Ω

★ now coming to 1st part of question

Net resistance = 6+6 = 12Ω

current = 1A

voltage across end of battery = I×R = 12V
