Answer:

This was wrong. "Don Anselmo", I pleaded.

(This passage is of, Gentleman of Río en Medio.)

a) This refers to the conversation of selling his land to the good people, as he does knows that whom he sold the property to, were indeed good people but however, he didn't sold them the trees in the orchard.

But when one signs a deed and sells real property, one also sells anything that grows on the land, and those trees included, every one of them, which are on the land and inside the boundaries of what one sells.

b) Don Anselmo admitted that he indeed knows that. (Refers to the answer above) He stated that he is the oldest man in the village. Almost everyone is a relative of his, his descendants. And since, he has taken possession of the house after his mother, he had planted a tree of that child. He indeed sold his property but he didn't sold the trees.

c) Every person in Río en Medio born since the railroad came to Santa Fe owns a tree in that orchard. He did indeed sold his property but he didn't sold the trees. He ( Don Anselmo ) didn't sold the trees because he could not. As they are not his to sell.

Explanation:

---------------------

There is nothing that could be done. The old man's generosity and refusing something which amounted to a fortune to him. It took most of the following winter to buy the tree, individually, from the descendants of Don Anselmo on the Valley of Río en Medio.
