so according to first condition

x+y=20 (1)

according to second condition

4x-6y=30

divide by 2 on both sides

we get,,

2x-3y=15 (2)

so multiply (1) by 3 we get

3x+3y=60 (3)

now adding (2) and (3)

we get

2x-3y=15

3x+3y=60

ie 5x=75

so x=15

now substitute x ka value in (1)

we get

y=5

so no of times he missed the target was 5 times
