Given :

Diameter of the container = 10 inches

Height of the container = 20 inches

To Find :

The volume of the container.

Solution :

To find volume of the cylinder we will use the formula

V=\pi r^2h

V = volume

π =  \frac{22}{7}=3.14

r = radius =  \frac{10}{2} = 5 inches

h = height 20 inches

V=\pi \times 5^2\times 20

  = 3.14 × 25 × 20

  = 1570³ inches

The container can hold 1570³ inches of soil.
