Street level (Black Widow, Cap, Black Panther, etc…)

So right away, we can eliminate most of the avengers who are more or less street level. This includes Black Widow, Captain America, and Black Panther. Dr. Strange as presented in his solo film and in Infinity War has a wide array of options to incapacitate these fighters. Trap them in the mirror dimension. Summon multiple clones of himself as he did against Thanos and restrain them. Change perception of reality to such a degree that his combatants no longer know which way is up.

Strange wins 10/10.

Spider-Man

Note I did not list Spider-Man as a street level combatant here. Well, simply put, he isn't. Spider-Man’s physical stats are what put him far beyond anything the street fighters I listed above can dish out. Especially with his upgraded nanotech suit Stark gave him. We saw him actually contribute in the fight against Thanos on Titan. If you replaced him with Cap or T’Challa on Titan, they would be near useless against Thanos.

Nonetheless, Spider-Man in the MCU is still learning how to fight and thus would be outclassed fairly easily by Strange in a number of ways. Even though his power level is far below Strange, he could give him a real fight if he had the ingenuity during combat at this point. Which brings me to my next avenger.

Strange wins 10/10.

Iron Man

Iron Man has a very similar power level to Spider-Man. What sets him apart is his years of experience in his suit. This is why he is able to stand for as long as he did against a Thanos equipped with four infinity stones.

However, there is a point at which even Tony Stark’s intellect comes up short against raw power as demonstrated by Thanos. Dr. Strange is in a whole other power category and thus he would take it after an interesting but relatively short fight.

Strange wins 10/10.

Hulk

This fight would be a lot more interesting if we had Professor Hulk. A Hulk who also harbours the intellect of Bruce Banner while fighting. There is an indication we might get to see him in the next Infinity War film after an image dropped a few weeks ago. However, this fight is taking place based on both characters up to and including Infinity War (2018).

This might prove to be a long and gruelling fight simply due to Hulk’s endurance and nearly limitless potential. But as shown by Thanos in the beginning of the film, if you punch down Hulk hard enough and quickly enough, you can keep him down. I don't know if Dr. Strange can do that like Thanos did. But I would be willing to bet that there wouldn't really be any way through which Hulk would hurt Dr. Strange simply because he keeps his intelligence and calmness during a fight. Something that Hulk doesn't have and would ultimately cost him the match.

Strange wins 9/10.

Vision

Here we have a very smart combatant like Strange who also happens to have an infinity stone (the mind stone). This could be very interesting. You have to remember that Vision not being able to do much in Infinity War was because of the cheap shot by Corvus Glaive near the beginning of the film.

It really comes down to Vision having the intellect necessary to compete with Strange while at the same time having a power level somewhat comparable to him. However, I will have to rely on feats ultimately as presented in the MCU. Vision hasn't done much to be honest.

Strange wins 8/10.

Thor

Many readers might be surprised by this. But I actually think Thor might not be able to win here as depicted in the MCU. Yes, he is extremely powerful as shown in Infinity War and Ragnarok. He could probably bust out of the mirror dimension if need be with his immense power and Strange could not really restrain or incapacitate him. The problem here is that Thor is rash in combat. He is an all in, brawler type of fighter.
