Answer:

Thank u for sending questions completely so lets start solving

1.Given

u ( initial velocity) = 0m/s

v(final velocity) = 144km/h

= 144×1000/60×60 = 40 m/s

t (time) = 1 minute =60s

a = v - u /t

a = 40 - 0 /60

a = 2/3 ms ^-2

s = v^2 - u^2/2a

s = (40)^2 - (0)^2/2/3

s = 1600 /2×3/2

s = 1600/3

s = 533.34 m (approx)

2. Given,

u (initial velocity) = 0 (as the car

starts from rest)

acceleration = 2m/s^-2

time = 10 s

v = u + at

v = 0 + 2×10

v = 20ms^-1

s = v^2 - u^2 / 2a

s = (20)^2 - (0)^2 / 2× 2

s = 400/4

s = 100m

3. Given,

u = 0.02km/s = 20m/s

v = 0m/s (as the car comes to rest)

s = 100m

a = - (v^2 - u^2 /2s) ( acceleration will be negative as it is retardation)

a = - ( 0 - 20/2×100)

a = -(-20/ 200)

a = 1/10 ms^-2

t = v- u/a

t = 0 - 20/ 1/10

t = -20 × 10

t = -200 s

t = 3 minutes and 20 seconds.

HOPE IT HELPS

Plz mark as brainalist.
