A noble ruler is one who thinks about his people before his own welfare

It is absolutely true a noble ruler always thinks about his people’s welfare. Such rulers are adored by masses and are remembered in all parts of the world.

Julius Caesar was one such ruler. Though the conspirators succeeded in assassinating him; but owing to his goodness that Antony, his friend reminded people of, his assassination was avenged by the people.

Caesar always thought of people’s welfare. The ransom he won in wars he spent for people’s welfare. He got many arbors, orchards, gardens, etc. constructed not only for himself, but also for all the people of Rome.

Caesar was exceedingly thoughtful of his people. Hence in his will he had made provisions to benefit the masses. He had made Roman people his heirs. He bequeathed each Roman seventy-five drachmas.

We also come to know from Antony’s speech that he often wept for the miseries for poor people of Rome and wanted to do something for them.

If Caesar had not worked for the welfare of common people, they would never take revenge of his death.

Hence, it can be said in conclusion that a noble ruler always works for the welfare of people and in return he/she is loved and adored.

In front of the body of Caesar, Mark Antony said these words which means Caesar is such a nobleman in the world.

Mark Antony was correct at that time becuase Caesar is really a good down to earth person who gave his private property to the people for surviving.

75 drachmas were given to each and every citizen of Rome by Caesar.

Although he earned much wealth by winning the battles, he sacrificed them for the goodness of the people in Rome.
