though c4 photosynthesis consumes more energy than c3 photosynthesis ,it is still advantageous for tropical plants .why?​

due to c2 cycle

Explanation:

c2 cycle or photorespiration is absent in c4 plant but present in c3 plant due to which c3 plant inspite to gain ATP it losses ATP during c2 cycle while it absent in c4 cycle
