b'cauz raptiles have scaly body but amphibians have wet soft body raptiles(lizard) have hprny thorns and dont need to live in wet areas they can survive on dry areas but salamander is aphibian so its soft body needs regular water and lives in wet areas

yeah salamander and lizards looks same but they are totally different
salamanders are amphibians where as lizards are reptiles
salamanders prefer to live in moist places
They can be found under leaves in the forest, or under rocks in a stream.(cause they are amphibians)
where as leaders prefer to live in hotter places
theycan be nearly independent of water and live in the desert. They often are found basking in the sun.

salamanders have smooth moist skin without scales
and lizard skin are dry and scaly

Rashi937: I asked the reason nd not d difference
qOooooooooOq: I am not saying differences I am saying the reasons
