Though Sugar is an organic substance it is a polar in nature. Why?​

Sugar is, of course, polar and thus hydrogen bonds with water (lots of OH groups in sugar to hydrogen bond with water). Hydrocarbon : Organic compound which consist of hydrogen and carbon→→ it's non polar.
