GREEN REVOLUTION is associiated with loss of soil fertility. Chemical fertilizers some how escape from soil and pollute ground water. Chemical fertillizers needs plenty of water to produce the best results . People have to pay for it means green revolution has lower down the water table and polluted soil. After some years they will not get fresh water to drink and fertile land for irrigation.
WAYS TO MINIMISE SOIL POLLUTION:
1. By planting more and more trees
2. By using manure instead of chemical fertilizers.

Hope this will help you
