though the success of green revolution made india self sufficient in food but the society has to pay a price for this. what is the price? suggest any two ways to minimise the soil pollution.

Green revolution had made India self sufficient in food grains as some time after of Independence,Many of Indian policies makes had adopted many polices to make India self-sufficient in food grains and India has adopted many policies and strategies like sowing of HYV seeds,upgraded pesticides and fertilisers which led to the more production of food grains by using less amount of irrigation,manures etc.

And price is not mentioned of the food grains.

Ways to minimise soil pollution:-
1-We should not use the harmful chemicals like pesticides on both on land and environment. Instead of this  we should Eat organic foods that are grown without pesticides. Look out for fertilizer or pesticide free products when you go to the market.

2-We should reduce the use of plastic bags as after using it they are thrown away on the land and it takes so much time to decompose

The Green Revolution was a period when the productivity of global agriculture increased drastically as a result of new advances. During this time period, new chemical fertilizers and synthetic herbicides and pesticides were created.its main aim was to encourage production.
2 ways are:-
i)
Reduce Deforestation and Begin Reforestation
ii)
Avoid Intensive Farming Practices
