The bad effects of green revolution are
1. Soil is losing its fertility due to inceased concentration of chemical fertilizers.
2.the groundwater is also polluted
3.only rich farmers can do this type of farming because this farming needs more inputs.
4.Higher production can be carried out by combining high amount of chemical fertilizers, plenty of irrigation.
Prevention of soil pollution
1. Decrease the amount of chemical fertilizers in crops.
2. instead of using chemical fertilizers start using natural compost made up of cattle dung etc.
3. we must use the crop rotation method.
