Though there is more luxury and comfort but still we are more worried and unhappy​:

         Happiness is an unmaterialistic aspect of life. It is not dependent on comforts, luxuries, intelligence, bank balances etc. Necessity determines how much is required in everything that we purchase or opt for. Being contented always makes us happy.

         Anything that is pursued exceeding necessity becomes the cause for worry. This is to protect the excess of anything.

         For example: A person purchased 50 lakhs car which in spite of having three cars at home. He started to use it very happily thinking he succeeded in life. One week after the usage, when he was driving to office, he got a call saying that he lost his shares in the company. All of a sudden, his happiness left him as he considered being rich gives him happiness.

         All his money, possessions did not matter to his happiness. Luxury and comforts are just the experiences of the physical body. So, we can learn from this incident that happiness lies within ourselves and we can attain it only through contentment and inward looking.
