though water can be regarded as renewable resource we are told not to waste drinking water . why?

Sajini: Because the future depends on us. If we didn't start today to conserve the water, our next generation would be wasted.
nimishshandilya: it is because pure water is not available in large quantity ,water available in oceans is impure state it is salty and to removing salt from in large quantity from water is very hard

bcoz about 71% of the earths surface is covered with water and 97% of the water is salt water called SALINE WATER and 2% of the water is in glacier ice at the north and south pole, though this ice is fresh water and could be melted for use, but it is not possible as it is too far from human habitat and population. Less than 1% of all water on the earth is fresh water that we can actually use......so each drop of fresh water is precious.......save it now ....or our generations will suffer the conciquences....
