though water covers nearly 71 % of the earth surface, still there is scarcityof water throughout the world. what the reason for this? what steps would you take to conserve water​

There is the scarcity of because about 2.5% of water in Fresh water of which 68% is glacier and 30% is ground water. the water on surface is about 2%of which 69% is of river which cannot be used directly. And the other 20% consist of lakes. Now the amount of water which is left is 11% . And from this much water the whole world gets water.

But Now the government uses the ground water too.

The steps would you take to conserve water​ are:-

1. Check the leakage.

2.Take shorter showers.

3.Turn off the water while brushing your teeth.

4.If you wash dishes by hand, don't leave the water running for rinsing.
