Explanation:

Pollution is a world problem. Today, whatever littte oxygen we inhale, is polluted. No doubt, most of our progress and development is the result of industrial growth and technological advancement of which we feel proud. But it has its evil effect too i.e. pollution.

By pollution we mean to destroy the purity of a thing. It is generally used for natural environment i.e. land, water, air. Pollution makes the environment unfit for living. It becomes a health hazard. It brings many diseases; hence it must be checked soon.

Land pollution is caused due to dumping and disposal of wastes, application of agro-chemicals in the soil. Deforestation also leads to land pollution. Hence it is necessary to start tree plantation as a social service and national programme. It is the only way which can save humanity.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

In India, wastes of oil, refineries and atomic plants are dumped into the rivers or seas which pose serious threat to the health of the people living in its surrounding areas or far away. Consequently, fresh water resources are depleting very fast and water-borne diseases are on the increase.

Air pollution is one of the major ecological problems man is facing today. It is the most dangerous form of pollution because we cannot control the air we breathe. Air pollution is prominent in the big cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Kanpur, etc. where the smoke is emitted from the chimneys of mills, kilns and factories and diesel smoke from buses, cars, aeroplanes, motor-cars and scooters. Thus, air becomes polluted and we are bound to enhale such polluted air.

Noise pollution is no less dangerous. The problem with noise is not only that it is unwanted, but also that it negatively affects human health and well-being. Problems related to noise include hearing loss, stress, high blood-pressure, sleep loss, distraction and lost productivity and a general reduction in the quality of life and opportunities for tranquility.

Water pollution has caused many health problems. It has many sources. The most polluting of them are the city sewage and industrial waste discharged into the river. The facilities to treat wastewater are not adequate in the city in India. Presently only about 10% of the wastewater generated are treated. The rest is discharge as it is into our water bodies.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

Due to this, pollutants enter groundwater, rivers and other waterbodies. Such contaminated water is used in our households. As a result we come in the grip of number of diseases. Agricultural run off rivers is another major water pollutant as it contains fertilizers and pesticides.

Pollution of any type is the greatest threat to our life because it causes many fatal diseases like diarrhoea, cholera, tuberculosis, asthama and even cancer. Hence pollution control measures must be used.

Deforestation should be totally stopped. Various measures may be adopted to control pollution. To trap smoke particles chambers should be made. Lofty smoke stakes should be built. Gases should be discharged through exhaust pipes higher in the air. Chemical industries should not be allowed to be set up on the banks of rivers.

Waste materials should be subjected to anti-pollution treatment. Noise pollution must be made a punishable offence. Growing population on a fast rate is also responsible for the problem of pollution. Hence it must be controlled by spreading awareness among common people. Pollution is harmful for all and therefore joint effort should be made to sweep away all kinds of pollution.

Answer:

"Thought Pollution - The Root of All Evils"

Everything good or bad starts with a "thought". And every destructive action is first a destructive thought.

That is why it is said thought pollution is the root cause of all evils

We are all aware of problems with air, water, and noise pollution. "thought pollution" is another kind that exists on this earth.

The contamination of inner peace by negative thoughts is referred to as "thought pollution."

The capacity for thought is extremely beneficial to humans. We think to solve our problems. When we start thinking of problems to solve, thoughts become problems.

We will have additional negative thoughts when we have a negative thought in our head. Environmental pollution and the harm it has done to humans and the planet concern a lot of people. However, there is an additional type of pollution that causes more deaths than actual pollution: thought pollution. Destructive weapons were once in someone's mind, and everything that exists today was once thought. As a result, it is believed that negative thoughts are to blame for everything.

When we're asleep, we can't think. We think, but we don't use our brains. When we sleep for seven to eight hours, we feel refreshed. This is the best time to be optimistic because we get to start fresh.

It is essential to start your day by being thankful for your life. You'll be thinking the same, positive things throughout the day.

When an outside negative thought interrupts this string, restart your appreciation. Gratitude is the best way to avoid "thought pollution" or negative thinking.

This does not occur once in a while. Like our bodies, our minds must be regularly cleansed. Even if it's dusty, jewellery is still jewellery. The value of mangled money does not decrease; We only make it straight.

The mind behaves similarly. When our minds are clear and clean, we can appreciate their beauty. We are struck by its beauty. When our thoughts become corrupted or consumed, we are unable to see the positive or positive aspects of both ourselves and others.

Your thoughts and feelings can have an impact on your health. When emotions are experienced and expressed without judgment or attachment, they tend to flow easily and without affecting our health. However, it can be detrimental to one's health and mental and physical resources to suppress one's emotions, particularly those that are negative or anxious.

"Chronic stress can be brought on by negative emotions and thought pollution. Your lifespan may be cut short by chronic stress. This is because when you're stressed, your body will naturally react. The responses frequently manifest as diseases like heart disease. A pattern of having negative thoughts about oneself and the world around you is known as negative thinking. Negative thinking that seriously affects how you think about yourself and the world and even interferes with work/study and day-to-day functioning could be a sign of a mental illness, such as depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, or schizophrenia. Although everyone experiences negative thoughts from time to time. "As a result, all evils stem from thought pollution.

We have the power to alter our thought patterns by concentrating on a single, potent thought. Positive self-talk, for example, can come from within, as does a friend's compliment. You don't want to be tied to anyone or anything else. Try changing your perspective by going within. You are not limiting yourself in any way; instead, you are making use of an infinite force. You can get closer to the entire universe by going within.
