Given:-
- Mass of body ,m = 5kg
- Speed of body ,v = 10m/s
To Find:-
- Kinetic Energy (KE)
- Potential Energy (PE)
Solution:-
As we know that Kinetic Energy is the energy due to virtues of its motion.
→ KE = 1/2mv²
Substitute the value we get
→ KE = 1/2×5×10²
→ KE = 1/2×5×100
→ KE = 5×50
→ KE = 250 Joule
∴ The Kinetic Energy is 250Joule
According to work energy theorem Energy can neither be created or nor be destroyed it can only transferred from one form to another .
Here Kinetic energy converted into Potential Energy .
∴ Potential Energy is 250 Joule
